Accreditation Preparation Services
We offer practical and comprehensive assistance as your health care organization prepares for international accreditation. Our expert consultants will help you determine your organization's current state of compliance with JCI accreditation (JCIA) standards and help you plan important steps in the preparation process. We work with you to create an action plan, provide education and training of staff and offer ongoing on- and off-site assistance to help keep you on track every step of the way.
Introductory Consultation
For organizations that wish to improve patient safety and quality of care, identify their strengths and challenges in relation to meeting international standards, or become familiar with the JCI accreditation preparation process, this consultation offers highly customized education, high-level assessment and practical advice. A consultant will join with the manager of your Quality Department or other senior level staff member to evaluate the organization’s strengths and challenges, provide mentoring, conduct informal meetings and help you create a plan for moving forward.
Organizational Assessment
This baseline assessment provides an in-depth review of your organization’s ability to meet the JCIA standards for Hospital, Laboratory, Ambulatory Care, Continuum of Care, Medical Transport Services, Primary Care or Clinical Care Program Certification (CCPC), and results are summarized in a comprehensive report from which immediate improvement activities can begin.
Ongoing Assistance
We can help your organization maintain momentum by providing off-site support. Off-site consulting may include regular e-mail communications, review of policies and procedures, organizational plans, or quality improvement data via e-mail, facsimile communication, periodic conference calls or video conferences.
Simulated Survey
For an organization well along in preparation, a simulated survey that allows the organization to practice the actual JCI accreditation survey process offers a comprehensive assessment of accreditation readiness. Simulated surveys are recommended approximately 6-8 months prior to scheduled survey.
